How does Sloop work?
After you've signed up to Sloop, we will provide you a starter template for your website. This is still a manual process so it may take a couple of hours to get this set up for you.
Once you've got your starter template you can start building your website through the content management system (CMS) (on a modern computer). You can choose from a range of website themes, and build pages from a page component library.
You need a modern web browser to use the CMS, but your website is fully accessible on the following internet browsers.
Internet Explorer 5.0+
Any modern web browser
To get started you need to create an account. We'll send you a link to the CMS editor so you can start building your website. You have seven days to try Sloop before choosing a plan.
We currently offer two plans:
Sloop Standard - $8.99 USD/month
Sloop Pro - $14.99 USD/month
We may add free tier in the future, but this will be heavily limited - we still need to be able to pay for the services we use and provide a good product.
Note: If you use Gmail check your junk mail! Gmail often mark legitimate emails as junk.
After you've signed up you will be given a testing domain name (e.g. https://bouncy_onion.cloudvent.net). Your CMS link to edit/build the website will be the domain name, and '/update' at the end of it.
You can also add your own domain name if you've already bought one.
